CCAM SOUND ART SERIES

Founded and curated by Ross Wightman in 2020, the Yale CCAM Sound Art Series presents experimental artists working across sound, music, installation, and performance.

The series brings artists into dialogue with the Yale and New Haven communities through live presentations, exhibitions, and public discussions.

Created to expand the CCAM Leeds Studio as a space for sound-based practice, the series has presented more than 15 artists from across the United States and internationally, including Alvin Lucier, Pamela Z, Miya Masaoka, Mendi + Keith Obadike, Raven Chacon, Moor Mother, Negativland + Sue-C, Victoria Shen, Viola Yip, Jace Clayton (DJ /rupture), Lonnie Holley, and others.
